Making a Will is one of the most important things you can do. It ensures your loved ones are taken care of and that your wishes are known. It also gives you the opportunity to leave a gift in your Will, helping Hospiscare to provide compassionate end-of-life care for generations to come.

Why gifts in Wills matter
One in five of our patients receives care funded by gifts in Wills. Every donation, big or small, helps us continue our work supporting people with terminal illnesses across Exeter, central and East Devon.
For more than 40 years, Hospiscare has been there for local families when it matters most, delivering specialist palliative care at home, in the community, and at our hospice in Exeter. Whether it’s ensuring a beloved pet can stay by a patient’s side or offering comfort in their final days, we know that small details make all the difference.
In 1983, we cared for just 45 patients. Today, we support over 2,000 patients and their families every year. With your help, we can do even more.
Including Hospiscare in your Will is simple. Even just a small percentage of what you leave as a legacy could provide life-changing care for those in need.
Because we receive the money in the future, it doesn’t cost you anything in your lifetime. Any gift left in a Will for Hospiscare is free of inheritance tax.
You can use Hospiscare’s Will-writing service working with local solicitors, or write your Will in partnership with Octopus Legacy.
