This event is taking place on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th September at Kings Down Farm, Salcombe Regis, by the kind permission of the Knight family.
Starting from 10.30am each day, this much-loved annual event promises a fascinating display of beautifully restored steam engines and vintage tractors, celebrating the rich farming heritage of East Devon. Visitors can enjoy seeing these magnificent machines in action while spending a relaxed day in the beautiful countryside.
More than just a great day out, the event is held to raise much-needed funds for Hospiscare, helping the charity continue its invaluable work supporting local patients and families when they need it most. Entry is by donation, and every contribution, however small, will make a real difference.
With something to capture the imagination of all ages, it’s an ideal family outing. Well-behaved dogs on short leads are also welcome, making it a perfect opportunity to enjoy a day outdoors together.
The organisers are looking forward to welcoming visitors from across the region for what promises to be another memorable weekend of heritage, friendship and community spirit.
So why not come along, support a fantastic local charity, and enjoy a wonderful day surrounded by the sights, sounds and atmosphere of Britain’s farming past?
