Join award-winning florist, Tina Parkes to create your own luxury Christmas wreath. A two and half-hour workshop, with complimentary hot drinks and selection of delicious homemade cakes.
Times:
There are two workshops to choose from:
- 10.00-12.30
- 14.00-16.30
Please note: When booking using the link below you will be asked to select your preferred time slot.
The Wreath:
Using traditional methods, you will design and assemble an elegant, fragrant Christmas wreath, with a sustainable wire ring covered in fresh moss, decorated with a wide range of fresh greenery, pinecones, dried hydrangea heads, sparkly baubles, mini fairy lights and ribbons.
Workshop Instructor:
Tina Parkes, the Principal of Academy of Floral Art, will be leading the workshops. Tina is very experienced, highly qualified and award-winning Florist and Floristry Tutor. The only English Florist to hold a Dutch Masters, an American Masters (AIFD), British Masters (Level 5), Tina has even achieved an RHS Chelsea Gold medal! Tina has squeezed us into her busy diary to generously volunteer her time and expertise to run these sessions in aid of Hospiscare.
Refreshments:
During the workshop you will be served tea or coffee. There will also be a selection of yummy homemade cakes, with dietary requirements catered for, if stated on the booking form. However, if someone has a serious allergy, we will not be able to meet their requirements, as food is prepared in a non-industrial kitchen which will not be allergy free.
Venue:
The Coaver Club is a warm, spacious and clean building, that provides a welcoming atmosphere for our event and wheelchair access. The use of the Coaver Club has kindly been gifted to the Exeter Friends of Hospiscare.
Costs and Bookings:
£45 per person which includes all materials, tools, refreshments and the wreath you created to take home.
What You Need To Bring:
We recommend you wear clothing that you don’t mind getting messy or bring along an apron. We will supply all the resources needed to make the perfect Christmas wreath, but if you have a special decoration you wish to add to your wreath you are welcome to bring it along. You will also need to bring a box to carry your wreath home in. If not, we will provide you with a black bin liner.
