We’re inviting keen knitters and crocheters across Devon to put their crafting skills to good use by helping create a flock of handmade Easter chicks for Hospiscare.
The colourful chicks will be sold in retailers across Devon in the run-up to Easter 2027, raising money to help us provide our specialist end-of-life care to local people and their families.
Whether you’re part of a knitting group or crochet club, enjoy crafting with friends, or simply love picking up your needles or hook at home, we’d love you to get involved.
You can create your chicks individually, as part of a group, or with family and friends. Hospiscare will provide participants with patterns and all the information they need to get started.
Every handmade chick will help raise vital funds for Hospiscare, supporting the charity’s work caring for patients and their families across Exeter, central and east Devon.
Get involved
We’re looking for enthusiastic crafters across Devon to join our Easter chick-making flock. Register your interest today to be among the first to receive the patterns, further information and updates about how you can get involved.
Details of where the chicks will be available to buy, and how you can support the campaign, will be announced soon.
For any enquiries please contact us at hatchlings@hospiscare.co.uk or phone 01392 688020.
