Lace up your running shoes and get together with other members of Team Hospiscare 2026 for our next Meet Up and Run of the year! A relatively flat 10k loop starting and ending at Exeter Quay on Wednesday 13 May.
Event Description: A relatively flat circular running route, mostly off-road, approximately 10k long.
Event Date: Wednesday 13 May 2026
Event Time and Meeting Place: 6.15 PM for a 6.30 PM run start. Meet outside of Rockfish (9 Piazza Terracina, Haven Rd, Exeter EX2 8GT), Haven Banks side
Parking: Free parking is available from 6PM onwards at the Haven Banks Carpark .
Please note Haven Banks Carparks 2 and 3 are locked at 8pm.
Pace: Pace will be adjusted to ensure the group stays together.

1. Acknowledgement of Risk
I understand that this training run takes place outdoors and that paths may be uneven at times.
Participation involves risks including, but not limited to, physical exertion, falls, unpredictable weather, navigation errors, dehydration, and injury.
I understand that the event is not suitable for individuals carrying an injury and that a reasonable level of fitness is required. I confirm that I am physically fit and capable of completing the event safely and without placing myself or others at risk.
2. Navigation and Equipment Requirements
I acknowledge that this event takes place in the dark and agree to stick with the group. I agree to carry the following essential items during the event:
– A fully charged mobile phone
– Sufficient water and personal supplies
– A headtorch
– hi vis clothing
– Any additional kit specified by the organisers in pre-event communications
Failure to carry these items may result in disqualification or removal from the course for safety reasons.
3. Communication
I understand that in order to communicate before, during and after the run, participants will be added to a Whatsapp Group by Hospiscare.

4. Medical Disclosure
I certify that I am not currently injured and that I have not been advised by a medical professional to avoid strenuous activity.
5. Assumption of Responsibility and Release
In consideration for being permitted to participate in this event, I hereby voluntarily assume all associated risks and release Hospiscare, its officers, employees, agents, volunteers, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, or causes of action for injury, loss, or damage arising from my participation, including those caused by negligence.
6. Media Consent
I grant permission for photographs, video, or audio recordings taken during the event to be used by Hospiscare for promotional, commercial, or informational purposes without compensation.
7. Indemnity
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hospiscare from any liabilities or claims made as a result of my participation in this run.
8. Conduct
I agree to act in a manner that is respectful and supportive of Hospiscare’ s reputation and values while participating in the event.
I understand that I will not be able to participate in the run if under the influence of alcohol.
