Could you help us turn yarn into care for Easter 2027? We’re looking for keen knitters and crocheters across Devon to help create a flock of adorable Easter chicks in support of Hospiscare.
In the lead-up to Easter 2027, we’re inviting individuals, knitting groups, crochet clubs and community groups to get involved by creating handmade chicks that will help raise money for local hospice care. Every stitch will help support Hospiscare and the patients and families we care for.

Whether you’re an experienced crafter or simply love knitting or crocheting as a hobby, we’d love to hear from you.
You can create your chicks at home, as part of a group or alongside friends and family. We’ll provide more information, including patterns and everything you need to know, to those taking part.
Chicks will be hatching across Devon!
The handmade chicks will be available to purchase from retailers across Devon in the run-up to Easter 2027, helping to raise vital funds for Hospiscare.
