Our Hospiscare Heroes are truly super; week after week, they support our local charity with their fundraising endeavours across Exeter, Mid and East Devon, ensuring we can be there for our patients and their families when they need us most.
From all of us at Hospiscare, we are sending a huge thank you to all of our Hospiscare Heroes. Read on to find out how they have been flexing their superpowers this week.
Thank you to Exeter Business Club who organised a Charity Quiz Night on Jan 26th at the Isca centre, Exeter. It was a great event with 16 local businesses taking part. The proceeds raised were kindly donated to Hospiscare. It was a fun night with laughter all round (and some general knowledge too!) The grand total was just over £2500!
Thank you to all who donated raffle prizes and to Belinda Newton and Simon Tutty for organising and hosting the event. These are great events for businesses to meet together, have some fun and supporting a vital local cause!
Finally we would like to mark a huge thank you to Darts Farm, who continue to support our local charity. The farm shop made an incredible donation recently. The donation came from the sale of Sunflowers from last Summer with proceeds in aid of Hospiscare. They were able to raise a final total of £5829!
Thank you to everyone at Darts Farm, the generous customers and volunteers from Topsham Friends of Hospiscare who all played their part in raising this grand total!
