Our Hospiscare Heroes are truly super; week after week, they support our local charity with their fundraising endeavours across Exeter, Mid and East Devon, ensuring we can be there for our patients and their families when they need us most.
From all of us at Hospiscare, we are sending a huge thank you to all of our Hospiscare Heroes. Read on to find out how they have been flexing their superpowers this week.
Firstly, we would like to say a grand thank you to Julie and the residents of Stewart Court, Axminster who recently held a Coffee Morning and Bingo fundraiser in aid of us at Hospiscare. Their superb efforts raised £240.25 which will help us enormously in providing our specialist services locally.

Next, we would like to pay another huge thank you to staff and customers at The Original Factory Shop in Honiton who have been loyal supporters to Hospiscare. Jack, from the Honiton store recently presented this check for an amazing £665.93 for which we are so appreciative. Jack explained:
“We are ecstatic to be able to hand over a cheque of £665.93 to the Honiton Hospiscare. Thank you to everyone who has swiped their The Original Factory Shop card, bought a carrier bag, made a donation or supported us through one of our charity events.“
Finally, we would like to thank Daniel and everyone who helped raise money for Hospiscare with their recent bucket collection. Daniel is a member of Singing for Fun, Exmouth. We are grateful for all members of the group for supporting our cause. It is great to see support from local community groups. Your support enables us to provide essential services to local people living with terminal illness.
