Our Hospiscare Heroes are truly super; week after week, they support our local charity with their fundraising endeavours across Exeter, Mid and East Devon, ensuring we can be there for our patients and their families when they need us most.
From all of us at Hospiscare, we are sending a huge thank you to all of our Hospiscare Heroes. Read on to find out how they have been flexing their superpowers this week.
We are sending a huge thank you to Jon Rycroft for organising a family tennis doubles tournament to raise vital funds for our local charity. Jon and all of those who took part raised an incredible £400!
We are also sending our thanks to Neil Samson, Nicola and the team at Exminster Post Office, as well as everyone who so kindly donated stamps and postcards to the Exminster Christmas Stamp Collection. We have had an incredible amount of stamps and postcards donated and we will be finding new homes for these to raise funds for our local charity.
Finally, we are sending our thanks to Nick Burrows and the team at Eagle Plant Tiverton who have kindly agreed to sponsor the refreshments for the Hospiscare Film Club. The Club allows patients and their loved ones to come together once a month and enjoy a film and quality time together at our hospice in Exeter. Eagle Plant’s generous support will enable Film Club to offer nibbles and drinks to enjoy alongside the film.
