We are looking for Shop Volunteers based at the new Hospiscare shop in Honiton. This is an opportunity to volunteer with a well-loved and respected local charity and to make a real difference in your local community.
About the Shop Volunteer role:
As a shop volunteer, you will help to generate essential income to maintain Hospiscare services for our patients and their families. We’re looking for reliable people with friendly and welcoming personalities who want to give their time to support their local hospice charity shop.
Typical activities of the role:
- Sorting and preparing donations
- Pricing and replenishing stock
- Serving shop customers
- Supporting the shop manager with window displays
- Promoting and selling Hospiscare’s lottery
What we’re looking for in our Shop Volunteers:
- Reliability
- A friendly and welcoming personality
- Willingness to work as part of a team
We’ll offer you all the training and support you need to be fully equipped to volunteer safely and effectively.
