Hospiscare is looking for Shop Volunteers based at the Hospiscare charity shop in Sidwell Street.
We are looking for new volunteers to add to our current team on the following;
- Tuesday (2 hr shift, anytime 9am -5:30pm)
- Wednesday morning (2 hr shift, anytime 9am -12:30pm)
- Thursday morning (2 hr shift, anytime 9am -12:30pm)
- Friday afternoon (2 hr shift, anytime 12.30pm -5:30pm)
- Saturday afternoon (2 hr shift, anytime 12.30pm -5:30pm)
- Sunday (2 hr shift, anytime 10am -4pm)
About the Shop Volunteer role:
- As a shop volunteer, you will help to generate essential income to run our hospice services for local patients and their loved ones.
- We’re looking for reliable people with friendly and welcoming personalities who want to give their time to support their local hospice charity shop.
- We are particularly looking for volunteers who can help with sorting, pricing and preparing stock.
Typical activities:
- Sorting and preparing donations
- Pricing and replenishing stock
- Serving shop customers
- Supporting the shop manager with window displays
- Promoting and selling Hospiscare’s lottery
