Can you help your local hospice raise vital funds for our specialist care?
Location: Marsh Barton Warehouse, Exeter, 2 Trusham Road, Exeter, Devon, EX2 8RB
Typical activities include:
- Front of house
- Serve shop customers
- Ask customers about our Gift Aid scheme when accepting donations
- Support manager with window displays
- Promote and sell Hospiscare’s lottery
Back of house
- Sort donations
- Steam and prepare donated clothing for sale
- Clean homeware (vases, plates etc. prior to sale)
- Price stock (including Gift Aid and non-Gift Aid items)
- Replenish stock
What we’re looking for:
- Work as part of a team
- Interact well with customers
- Be friendly, reliable and welcoming
- Take direction
- Able to complete training, follow policies and apply Hospiscare’s values of compassion, respect, professionalism and inclusivity.

- ‘Volunteering Essentials’ core training for all Hospiscare volunteers
