Memory tree

If you’re looking for a lasting memorial to your loved one, you may be interested in our Memory Tree. Each of its leaves is dedicated to the memory of someone we’ve supported, and each one helps us to continue our vital work.

Every person who passes through our doors brings with them a lifetime of precious moments, and makes a lasting impression on our staff and volunteers. If you’d like to know there’s a memorial to your loved one here in Searle House, you can dedicate a leaf on our Memory tree.

Your loved one’s leaf will be engraved with their name, or a short message from you to them. It will hang on our tree in a peaceful room here at Searle House. You’re welcome to visit it and spend some quiet time reflecting and remembering your loved one.

How to order a memorial leaf

  1. Complete the form below, or call 01392 688020 to ask for a printed form.
  2. We’ll let you know when your leaf will take its place on our tree.
  3. You can visit Searle House to see the leaf as many times as you like.

Your loved one’s leaf will hang on our tree for 12 months. You can then decide if you want to renew it for another year or have it returned to you as a memorial keepsake.

“I have a leaf on the Memory Tree at Searle House. I like to know that it is there and my donation each year helps Hospiscare continue its work. I will be forever grateful to the nursing staff for taking away my fears and anxiety, allowing us to enjoy our last precious days together.”

We’re currently doing some maintenance on our Memory Tree, so it’s not accessible to visitors right now. For more information please call 01392 688020.
