Traditionally, April is the time of year when Hospiscare supporters would hold a Coffee Morning in their community to raise funds for patient care. But this year things have been a bit different!
With restrictions meaning people couldn’t get together socially, our wonderful supporters, undeterred, put their thinking caps on and came up with dozens of ways to take part in “Coffee Month”, our 2021 spin on the normal campaign.
From making doorstep coffee and cake deliveries and holding outdoor cake stalls, to making coffee-flavoured cocktails and donating a proportion of coffee sales, supporters across Exeter, Mid and East Devon stepped up to ensure our services continue into the future.
A huge thank you to all our Coffee Month champs for showing such brilliant creativity in taking part in Coffee Month this year and raising £12,315 – and counting! – for our patients and their families.
