Our Hospiscare Heroes are truly super; week after week, they support our charity with their fundraising endeavours across Exeter, Mid and East Devon. From all of us at Hospiscare, we are sending a huge thank you to all of our Hospiscare Heroes. Read on to find out how they have been flexing their super powers this week.
We are sending a huge thank you to Jane Asten from Exmouth who decided to walk 80 miles for her 80th birthday to raise money for Hospiscare. This amazing lady completed her challenge yesterday, despite the adverse weather we have been having! Jane has raised £3,365 so far with money still coming in.
If you would like to donate, you can visit Jane’s JustGiving page here.
We are sending our warmest thanks to Paul Stanbrook and Courtenay’s Bar in Tiverton. Paul usually runs a monthly quiz in the pub to raise money for Hospiscare but due to restrictions has not been able to do this. Instead, Paul put on the Big Tiverton Quiz on Facebook. Paul has raised an amazing £769 and is now running another quiz! Thank you Paul for the effort you put into fundraising for us; you really are a fantastic supporter!

Thank you to Lewis Clarke for the above photo of the cheque presentation.
Thank you also to Sharon and Emily Knight of Knights Farm Shop who are supporting our Tour de Devon cycling event.
Finally, thank you to Paul Godfrey, pictured above with our Community Nurse Specialist Rachel Hall, for his amazing fundraising during lockdown. Paul has raised a phenomenal £4,264! Thank you to Paul and to everyone who has supported him.
