Our Hospiscare Heroes are truly super; week after week, they support our local charity with their fundraising endeavours across Exeter, Mid and East Devon, ensuring we can be there for our patients and their families when they need us most.
From all of us at Hospiscare, we are sending a huge thank you to all of our Hospiscare Heroes. Read on to find out how they have been flexing their superpowers this week.
We want to send our thanks to Okehampton Simmons Bowling Club for hosting a Presidents Bowling Day to help raise funds for our new Hospiscare@Home service in Crediton, Okehampton & North Dartmoor. The day raised an amazing £547.50, which will help support local families in their own homes in the las weeks of their lives.
We really do appreciate your support – thank you!
We want to send a big thank you to the Rolinson family – Sarah, her husband Tim and their children Ruby and Josh, took to the skies last weekend participating in a tandem skydive in memory of Emma. They had loved the once in a lifetime experience so much that Ruby and Josh wanted to do it again!
The family has raised an incredible £2500 and counting for Hospiscare and we couldn’t be more grateful for their support!
For the past 14 years, Cookie Jam, an annual BMX freestyle event, has been held in Exeter to raise funds for Hospiscare in memory of Jamie Bruce. This year’s event proved as popular as ever, raising over £1000 (and counting) for our local hospice. We truly appreciate your ongoing support every year!
Thank you to all our Hospiscare Heroes on behalf of our staff, patients, and their loved ones.
