Our Hospiscare Heroes are truly super; week after week, they support our local charity with their fundraising endeavours across Exeter, Mid and East Devon, ensuring we can be there for our patients and their families when they need us most.
From all of us at Hospiscare, we are sending a huge thank you to all of our Hospiscare Heroes. Read on to find out how they have been flexing their superpowers this week.
We are sending a huge thank you to everyone who joined us on Sunday 4 December for Carols at the Park at the amazing Deer Park Country House in Honiton. We were so excited to hold our first ‘in person’ Light up a Life service since the outset of the pandemic.
We welcomed over 100 people to join us in remembering loved ones who are no longer with us. Thank you to everyone who joined us, as well as all of our readers and Hospiscare volunteers.
We would also like to say a special thank you to Mark and the amazing team at Deer Park for hosting us in their beautiful venue and for providing refreshments and to Bonnie from the team who sang for us as we gathered for the service.
Finally, we would like to thank Ellie Williams and Sounds Choir for their heartfelt performances during the service.

Thank you to Marketing Manager, Debbie Butler, and her amazing team at World of Country Life for collecting items and assembling this amazing hamper, which will be raffled off to raise funds for our local charity.
Finally, thank you to Tricia Heard for organising The Grand Fair at West Hill Village Hall on 26 November. Thank you to all of the volunteers and stall holders who supported this event. A great time was had by all and The Grand Fair raised an impressive £2,500!
