Our Hospiscare Heroes are truly super; week after week, they support our local charity with their fundraising endeavours across Exeter, Mid and East Devon, ensuring we can be there for our patients and their families when they need us most.
From all of us at Hospiscare, we are sending a huge thank you to all of our Hospiscare Heroes. Read on to find out how they have been flexing their superpowers this week.
We would like to say a huge thank you to Baker Estates who recently donated a cheque for an incredible £3,200. Every time a home is sold at their Hayne Farm development near Gittisham, they kindly make a donation to a local charity.
We are incredibly grateful to Baker Estates for continuing to support us in this way.
We are sending a big thank you to Sally Wilde, owner of Planet Sal, and those who recently attended the Honiton Cribbage Annual Drive at Vine Inn & Tea Room, where a raffle was held in aid of Hospiscare, raising a fantastic £124!
On behalf of our patients and their families, thank you to everyone involved.
We would also like to thank Moshulu for holding a sample sale for their staff to help raise money for Hospiscare as part of their 40 Club fundraising. The sample sale raised an impressive £712, which was generously doubled by their directors, taking the total to £1,425!

Finally, we want to thank Rachel and Kate who are putting on their running shoes and taking part in a number of events this year to raise money for our local charity in memory of Rachel’s mum, Helen. Rachel recently ran a very muddy Grizzly Race in East Devon and they are both now busy preparing for the London Marathon next month!
