Our Hospiscare Heroes are truly super; week after week, they support our local charity with their fundraising endeavours across Exeter, Central and East Devon. Every pound raised makes a vital difference to our patients and their families.
From all of us at Hospiscare, we are sending a huge thank you to all of our Hospiscare Heroes. Read on to find out how they have been flexing their super powers this week.
We are sending a huge thank you to Paul Glanville and Lewis Pike, who attended Feniton Fun Day on 17 July with their miniature steam engine and offered rides to the public in return for a donation to Hospiscare. Lewis and Paul raised an incredible £128.57!
We are so grateful to Jamie Skinner and everyone involved in Exeter Cookie Jam for their incredible dedication to our local charity. Every year, Jamie organises Cookie Jam BMX Festival to honour the memory of his friend, Jamie Bruce. This year’s event marks the 15th annual Cookie Jam and raised a whopping £4,659.46.
By honouring ‘Brucey’s memory year after year, Jamie and the Cookie Jam Crew have raised a phenomenal £28,491.74. From all of us here at Hospiscare, we are so grateful.
Thank you to The Exeter Lodge of Moose International for their incredibly generous donation of £1,000. Your kindness and support means so much to everyone at Hospiscare and we are so lucky to have the support of our local community. Your dedication and generosity ensures that Hospiscare can remain by the side of patients and their families when they need it most.
Finally, we would like to thank the Devonshire Holy Royal Arch Freemasons for their equally generous donation of £1,000. Our Area Fundraiser, Sharon Collins, had the pleasure of meeting Mark Richardson (both pictured above) to receive the cheque.
Thank you to all our Hospiscare Heroes on behalf of our staff, patients, and their loved ones.
