Our Hospiscare Heroes are truly super; week after week, they support our local charity with their fundraising endeavours across Exeter, Mid and East Devon, ensuring we can be there for our patients and their families when they need us most.
From all of us at Hospiscare, we are sending a huge thank you to all of our Hospiscare Heroes. Read on to find out how they have been flexing their superpowers this week.
Chris Tetlow and his older brother James, who has Down’s syndrome, took to the skies on Sunday 23 June to raise funds for our local hospice. The brothers’ fundraising challenge was inspired by the care their father, Paul, received in his final weeks of life. You can read their full story here.
The boys had an amazing day! So far, they have raised an incredible £3,238 for Hospiscare. To donate to Chris and James’s challenge, click here.
Next, we would like to pay thanks to Debbie Cross from Exeter who has very kindly donated these beautiful handmade crochet items for sale at the craft stall at this year’s Summer Walk, taking place at Dart’s Farm on Saturday 13 July. The time and effort gone into making these skilful crafted items is so appreciated. Thank you Debbie! You are extremely talented and so kind. The money raised through sales will really help us continue to provide our vital services.
Step into summer as we come together for a seven-mile sponsored walk and celebrate the best of British summertime to support local end-of-life care!
You can sign up for the Summer Walk here!
