Young Changemakers Programme

Empowering young people to develop essential life skills and make a positive difference

We are thrilled to introduce the Hospiscare Young Changemakers Programme. An exciting initiative working in partnership with local schools and colleges, and designed to empower young people to make a positive difference in the Exeter, central and East Devon community, while developing essential life skills.

This programme offers students the chance to take on meaningful roles in supporting Hospiscare through a variety of hands-on activities, including volunteer opportunities, awareness campaigns, fundraising events, and educational sessions.

Empowering the Next Generation

The Young Changemakers Programme aims to instil a sense of social responsibility within your school community, inspiring young people to become ambassadors for Hospiscare. By taking part, students will learn about the realities faced by those with life-limiting illnesses, developing empathy and understanding as they witness the impact of their support. The programme’s activities are designed to help young people gain valuable skills in teamwork, leadership, and effective communication.

This initiative encourages creativity and innovation, allowing students to develop and execute business ideas that generate funds for Hospiscare. Students might plan events, create products, or offer services, helping to develop both entrepreneurial experience and a deep sense of social responsibility.
