A two and half-hour workshop, with complimentary hot drinks and selection of delicious homemade cakes, in Exeter.

The Wreath:
Using traditional methods, you will design and assemble an elegant, Spring wreath, with a sustainable willow ring covered in fresh flowers and seasonal decorations.
Workshop Instructor:
Tina Parkes, the Principal of Academy of Floral Art, will be leading the workshops. Tina is very experienced, highly qualified and award-winning Florist and Floristry Tutor. The only English Florist to hold a Dutch Masters, an American Masters (AIFD), British Masters (Level 5), Tina has even achieved an RHS Chelsea Gold medal! Tina has squeezed us into her busy diary to generously volunteer her time and expertise to run these sessions in aid of Hospiscare.
Refreshments:
During the workshop you will be served tea and coffee. There will also be a selection of yummy homemade cakes, with dietary requirements catered for if stated in the booking form.
Venue:
The Coaver Club is a warm, spacious and clean building, that provides a welcoming atmosphere for our event.
Costs and Bookings:
£35 per person which includes all materials, tools, refreshments and the wreath you created to take home.

What You Need To Bring:
We recommend you wear clothing that you don’t mind getting messy or bring along an apron. We will supply all the resources needed to make the perfect wreath, but if you have a special decoration you wish to add to your wreath you are welcome to bring it along. You will also need to bring a box to carry your wreath home in. If not, we will provide you with a black bin liner.
We will be holding a small raffle. If you would like to participate, you can buy tickets with cash or card. The tickets are £1 a strip or 6 strips for £5.
Directions and Parking:
The Coaver Club is on the Devon County Hall site, accessed via Topsham Road. To find it you can use this postcode-EX2 4QD in Sat Nav. There is free parking for visitors in Car Park A.
By foot from the car park head towards the main reception up the steps. Turn right and walk to the end of the arched corridor. Turn left signposted Matford Lane Offices and walk along the path towards the clock tower. Pass through the brick archway. Continue straight along the path and through the bushes. In front of you is the side entrance into the Coaver Club. This journey should take you approximately 3 minutes.
Visitors with accessibility needs can drive through the barriers to park closer to the Coaver Club, with prior arrangement. Please email [email protected] with your car registration no later than a week before the event. If you miss this deadline and you have accessibility issues so cannot walk across the site, don’t worry, one of our volunteers can drive around and collect you from the barrier if you contact us using the phone details below.

Cancellation Policy:
If you need to cancel your booking, please give us as much notice as possible so we can try and re-sell your ticket. If you need to cancel, we can arrange a full refund if the cancellation is made up to 7 days before the event. However, if it is within a week, we are unable to offer a refund, so we ask you send someone who would like to attend in your place- just let us know who to expect on the day and if they have any dietary or accessibility requirements!
