Hospiscare Heroes – From disco bingo to sweet treats

Our Hospiscare Heroes have been flexing their super powers to support our charity in an incredible variety of ways

Our Hospiscare Heroes are truly super; week after week, they support our local charity with their fundraising endeavours across Exeter, Mid and East Devon, ensuring we can be there for our patients and their families when they need us most.

From all of us at Hospiscare, we are sending a huge thank you to all of our Hospiscare Heroes. Read on to find out how they have been flexing their superpowers this week.

Thank you to World of Country Life for allowing our fabulous fundraisers Sharon (the strawberry) and Toni (the pumpkin) to set up a stall and share the vital work that we do with the local community.

Thank you also to Debb for sharing this fantastic photo with us!

We are sending a big thank you to Workout with Pride who took on a Battle Cancer fitness challenge due to a personal connection with our charity. To date, the team have raised a fantastic £1,195 to help support patients and their families across the heart of Devon. Thank you Mark, Ty, Zee, Tom, Rob, Jan, Sam and Ross for their heroic efforts!

We are also sending our thanks to Alyson, aka The Fudge Fairy, in Exmouth who recently donated a lovely box of homemade fudge to one of our fundraising hampers.

Finally, we would like to say thank you to King Recruit and The Forge by Winslade Manor for organising a very exciting event to raise money for our local charity: a Disco Bingo Music Quiz! The event will take place on 10 November and you can find out all of the information, including how to book, here.
