Can you help support your local hospice?
Location Various Hospiscare clinical and retail sites across Mid and East Devon
Typical activities include:
- Painting and decorating.
- Moving and assembling of furniture.
- Delivery and collection of goods to Hospiscare sites.
- Assisting with supporting patients and family with tasks if appropriate, this may include moving of furniture etc. These tasks might be within patients’ and families’ homes.
- Ensuring the safety of staff, volunteers, public and patients, reporting faults and hazards.
What we’re looking for:
- Be part of a small team as well as work independently in a professional manner.
- Communicate any concerns with the team and give constructive feedback.
Bring a basic understanding of maintenance and safety procedure when operating tools and equipment
